THE FINER DETAILS

Cancellations
& refunds.

Plans change. Here’s how we handle cancellations, corrections and refunds for your commissioned artwork.

Policy version 26 October 2026

01 / BEFORE WORK STARTS

A full refund.

Cancel before we begin your redraw and we’ll refund your payment in full.

02 / ONCE WORK BEGINS

A fair assessment.

Any deduction reflects work already supplied and is made only where legally permitted.

03 / IF WE GET IT WRONG

We’ll put it right.

Corrections to our work do not use your included revision rounds.

Your order.

Vectopik is a service by Simon Hayden Freelance Design & Media. This policy covers commissioned logo redraws, vector artwork, quoted customisation of stock designs and stock designs bought as shown. Your confirmed quote or as-is listing sets out the agreed work, price, files and usage. Customisation quotes also confirm turnaround and included revision rounds.

Sending an artwork brief or stock-design enquiry does not take a payment. For Buy as is, the listed price is saved to an order for you to review before paying through PayPal. Changes to the design are quoted separately. Stock file packs are prepared by the studio for approval and delivery through your account; they are not instant downloads.

For a consumer purchase of an as-is digital file pack, we wait until the applicable cancellation period has ended before supplying it, unless we separately obtain your express consent to earlier supply and acknowledgement of the resulting loss of the digital-content cancellation right, and confirm these by email. The stock checkout does not collect that consent. Payment or the general order confirmation alone does not waive that right. Without the required consent, acknowledgement and confirmation, an applicable cancellation during that period carries no charge for the digital content supplied.

Cancelling work.

Before work starts: we offer a full refund.

After work starts: where a charge is legally permitted, we may retain a reasonable amount for the proportion of the agreed work supplied before you cancel. We’ll explain that calculation and refund the remainder. We do not automatically keep a fixed percentage or deduct an administration or payment-processing fee.

After completion: we do not normally offer a change-of-mind refund for correctly completed work once any applicable cancellation right has ended. Approving a proof or downloading a file does not remove your rights if something is wrong.

If we cannot complete the agreed job: we’ll let you know and offer a full refund.

Consumer cancellation rights.

If you buy wholly or mainly for personal use, online service orders normally have a 14-day cancellation period, starting the day after the contract is made. You can cancel during that period without giving a reason. Any longer cancellation period you are entitled to by law still applies.

Tell us clearly that you want to cancel before the deadline. You can email hello@vectopik.com; you do not need to wait for us to approve the cancellation or use particular wording.

If you cancel after work has started

This section explains when work already supplied can be deducted from a cancellation refund.

For a consumer order, we need your express request before starting work during your cancellation period. Payment alone is not an early-start request or a waiver of cancellation rights.

Email hello@vectopik.com with your order reference if you want us to begin sooner. We’ll confirm your request and the cancellation information by email before starting. Without that request, we wait until the applicable cancellation period has ended.

If you validly request an early start and then cancel before completion, you pay only for the proportion supplied, provided we gave you the required cancellation and charging information. If those requirements were not met, we will not charge you for work supplied during the cancellation period when you exercise that right.

Your change-of-mind cancellation right ends on full performance within that period only if you expressly requested the early start and acknowledged beforehand that you would lose that right once the service was fully performed. Starting work alone does not end the right.

Corrections & revisions.

If our artwork does not match the agreed brief or a supplied file is faulty, contact us so we can put it right without charge. Corrections to our mistakes do not use your included revision rounds. If we cannot provide the appropriate correction within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction, up to a full refund where appropriate.

Included revisions cover refinements within the agreed scope. Request them from your order before approving the proof. Extra rounds, new concepts or a changed brief are agreed and priced separately before we do extra work.

LET’S GET IT SORTED

Request a cancellation or refund.

Email hello@vectopik.com with your order reference and tell us whether you want to cancel or report a problem. Describe the problem if relevant; a reason is not required for a valid cooling-off cancellation.

A simple cancellation email can say: I wish to cancel my artwork order. My order reference is… Add your name and the order date if available. Missing an order reference does not invalidate an otherwise clear cancellation notice.

We’ll acknowledge your message and explain the next steps. If we propose a deduction for work supplied, we’ll provide the breakdown in writing.

How refunds are returned.

For a valid statutory cancellation of these services, we refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision, subject to any permitted charge for work supplied. For a statutory price reduction, the refund is due without undue delay and within 14 days of agreeing you are entitled to it.

Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise. We do not charge a refund fee. Your payment provider may take additional time to show the credit in your account.

Business orders & your rights.

The general cancellation and refund approach above also applies to business orders. The statutory consumer cooling-off right does not normally apply when you buy mainly for your business.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your statutory rights. A personalised design, proof approval, payment or file download is not a blanket reason to refuse a remedy you are legally entitled to.
